Do you read special holiday books at this time of year? Do you need some suggestions?
I finally read The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, and I wish I had found it sooner. What a great read-aloud for the kids, or even adults.
Last December, a friend gave me Skipping Christmas as a fun read for a stressful, busy time. It was light-hearted, but with a good message. Who knew that John Grisham did humor?

Merry Xmas
I absolutely loved Wonder. I also really enjoyed I also really enjoyed Walls Within Walls by Maureen Sherry and Flying the Dragon by Natalie Diaz Lorenzi.
Thanks for contributing Lesha. I’ve never heard of these other books you shared and can’t wait to check them out on Goodreads. Good luck in the giveaway!
I listened to the audio of Skipping Christmas earlier in the season. It was very entertaining and you are right, contained a great message. I just finished Candlelight Christmas by Susan Wiggs and liked it too. It wasn’t one I would read every Christmas, but it was enjoyable. My favorite story in the last several years is Polar Express, the movie as well as the book.
Thanks Judy. I bet the audio of Skipping Christmas would be lots of fun! Thanks for suggesting Candlelight Christmas– I’ll have to check in to that one. Merry Christmas to you and yours!
